The Visiting Professor appointment in the Armstrong Institute for Interactive Media Studies Program I taught classes on Usability/User Experience and Digital Marketing. My goals going into the school year was to prepare my students to step out of the classroom and into digital marketing jobs, where they will be able to find success immediately, add positive contributions and effect change as thought leaders. I received a commendation for being identified as a professor who added to the Miami Experience for graduating Seniors.

IMS 413/513, Website Usability & User Experience, where students learn the strategic and tactical methodology behind successful user testing scenarios and reporting across Desktop, Mobile, and Apps.

IMS 440, IMS Capstone, This is a senior level capstone class is required for all AIMS students to graduate. This class's project was focused on next-generation planning, prototyping and executing a new personalized virtual reality-based shopping experience using the Oculus Rift.

IMS 418/518, Social Media Marketing, in IMS 418 students learn about social networking and the ever-changing landscape of social media marketing. Students are expected to create social media marketing strategies and understand the tools and tactics available and how social media works as an integrated marketing channel. Students in this class are required to complete HootSuite U certification.

IMS 419/519, Digital Branding, IMS 419 covers integrating digital marketing channels into an overall campaign, and how different channels work together. Students in this class will learn about using paid marketing channels, SEM and Display advertising. Students in this class are introduced to the Google Partner program in order to understand the vast scope of digital marketing channels and tools available.

IMS 477, Independent Study, I mentored 2 senior level students in digital projects to help prepare them for graduation and beyond.
